You can request deletion of your OurArtisans account and personal data at any time.
You'll be signed out of every device immediately. We'll also email you a link to cancel the request, in case it wasn't you or you change your mind.
Email vinodn@ourartisans.in from your registered email address, or write to us with your registered phone number, and ask us to delete your account. We'll verify it's really you and process the request by hand.
Your account is scheduled for deletion, not deleted instantly — there's a short grace period (currently 7 days) during which you can cancel the request using the link we email you, or by contacting us. After that, it runs automatically.
Your name, phone number, email, saved addresses, and password are permanently removed. Your wishlist, cart, and saved sessions are cleared. Any product review you wrote stays visible (it's already public) but is no longer linked to your name.
Indian tax law requires us to retain sale and GST records for a number of years. So your past orders are not deleted outright — instead, the name/phone/email/address on them is replaced with "Deleted Customer," while the order amounts, GST, and products purchased are kept as required financial records. No one can use these anonymized records to identify you.
